Mitsubishi Evolution VIX 06′-07′

The Mitsubishi Evolution VIII was the first generation Evolution to be available in the US market. It is the successor to the Mitsubishi Evolution VII. The Evo 8 was first debuted in 2003 for the 2003 model year. The Evo 8 came standard with all wheel drive and like the previous generations it was powered by the 4G63 turbo inline four cylinder mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Originally sold in one trim, by 2005 there were four different trim levels available the GSR, RS and MR. The GSR and MR were available with either a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission and various other options. The Evo 8 was succeeded by the Evo 9 which debuted in 2006.
