The BMW M2 CS was unveiled online in 2019 for the 2020 model year, with 2,200 units planned for North America, Europe, Asia and Mexico. The BMW M2 CS came standard with the same 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged inline six cylinder s55 engine found in the F80 M3 and F82 M4. The new engine produced 444 hp and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
