The BMW M3 was released in 2014 as a successor to the M3 sedan. The F80 M3 was the first turbocharged M3 model, powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged inline six cylinder s55 engine which produces 425 hp and is mated to either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The F80 M3 was discontinued in 2018.
