Acura NSX NC1

The new NSX has a hybrid powertrain, with a 3.5 L twin-turbocharged V6 engine and three electric motors, two of which form part of the “SH-AWD” all wheel drive drivetrain, altogether capable of close to 600 hp. The transmission is a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic. Its body utilizes a space frame design—which is made from aluminum, ultra-high-strength steel, and other rigid and lightweight materials, some of which are the world’s first applications. Acura introduced the Type-S variant of the second generation NC1 for the final year of production 2022 models. Production of the NSX Type-S is limited to 350 units globally and is the only trim level available for the 2022 model year. The NSX Type-S comes with improved aerodynamics and race spec twin turbos which helps increase output to 600-hp.
