Honda Civic Type R (2017 – 2021)

The tenth generation Civic Type R is the first Civic Type R model to be offered new in the United States. Known by the chassis code FK8, it features a turbocharged inline-4 rated at 310 hp mated to a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission. The FK8 is the fastest Civic Type R model to date and it holds the record for front-wheel drive cars around the Nurburgring with a lap time of 7:43.8. The Civic Type R went on sale June 2017. There were only two trim levels available, the base model and the limited track edition model.
