Porsche Boxster Spyder (2016)

The Porsche Boxster Spyder was unveiled for the 2016 model year. The Boxster Spyder was somewhat of a parts bin special utilizing various components sourced from other Porsche models. The chassis is based on the then current generation Boxster powered the slightly detuned 3.8 liter naturally aspirated Flat-6 engine from the 911 Carrera S, which produces 375 hp mated to the 6-speed manual transmission which is sourced from the Cayman GT4. The Boxster Spyder also shares the same front and rear fascia as the Cayman GT4. At the time this generation Boxster Spyder was fastest most powerful Boxster Spyder produced. The Boxster Spyder was later succeeded by the 718 Boxster Spyder.
