Tesla Model Y (2020-2022)

The Tesla Model Y is an electric crossover CUV produced by Tesla. Tesla revealed the Model Y in 2019 and it went into production for the model year 2020. The Tesla Model Y is largely based on the Model 3 platform sharing roughly 75% of its parts consisting of the interior and electric powertrain. The Tesla Model Y is offered in all wheel drive and rear wheel drive configurations. The Tesla Model Y was created to fill a smaller less expensive segment than the mid-sized Tesla Model X.
