For those who are new to this project or skipped part 1, here’s a brief recap of what was done. There a few things that needed to be done prior to paint, a lot of patch work was needed on the walls and there were a few built in storage and workbenches that were torn out. Oh and a ton of sanding. Now on to the fun stuff paint.
I went with silver leaf, a nice matte light grey finish which I think will pair nicely with the floor I plan on using. I painted the walls and ceiling with that color and used a base white on the garage door, entry door and frame. I decided to leave the concrete block bare for now to give the space an accent wall to add a more industrial look. I think it looks good but we’ll see it how all comes together once I add in the flooring. This stage of the build was the most enjoyable for me because I can start to see the vision come together plus my wife did a lot of the work since she likes to paint. On to some pics…
